MSP Commercial would like to congratulate Ramsey County on successfully opening their new Public Health Center at 1850 Beam Avenue in Maplewood, MN. They welcomed patients to the new location on June 1, 2026.
Previously located in downtown Saint Paul, the Ramsey County Public Health Center continues to provide the same services in Maplewood: sexual and reproductive health, immunization, Tuberculosis/TB, lab and county employee health services.
The suburban location offers key advantages: easy patient access through its placement on a major corridor with nearby bus line access, high visibility, ample parking and close proximity to retail and restaurants surrounding the nearby Maplewood Mall, as well as the Maplewood Library.
MSP collaborated with Ramsey County on the 21,000 sf adaptive reuse project, which utilized much of the existing medical infrastructure, including structural and mechanical systems. This reuse strategy accelerated delivery, significantly reduced costs and supported the County’s commitment to responsible stewardship of public funds while maintaining the clinic’s essential public health mission.
Renovations included exterior updates such as landscaping, parking lot improvements, and siding repairs. The interior features refreshed exam rooms and lobby areas, reconfigured spaces for imaging services, and enhanced clinical features such as negative pressure rooms for infection control. Additional improvements include upgraded security with strategically placed cameras with key card access to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
